Went here for Mother’s Day and sat on the patio. I was craving fish and chips and these DID NOT disappoint! Perfectly crispy and flaky, and the tartar sauce was great too. Couldn’t even finish the 2 piece fish and chips! I had switched my side of coleslaw to the veggie of the day. Would also recommend the bangers and mash that my husband ordered, and the zucchini spears as an appetizer. Food was overall phenomenal. Customer service was great, patio area was surprisingly quiet for being in a parking lot, and we still got to enjoy the Irish music playing out into the patio. First time coming here and I will absolutely be going back! There’s so many menu options I want to try!

Our meal was amazing. I had the zucchini noodles dinner. It was incredible. It's in a soft garlic, spinach, tomato, marinara with Parmesan and toasted baguettes. It should have been far more expensive. You can add shrimp, chicken or salmon should you so desire. Our server was very very polite and put up with a lot of questions from us. She was very sweet. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a moderate meal and it totally enjoyable evening Is
Food has been consistently good. Great neighborhood restaurant! I have a severe gluten allergy and they have always handled my food with extra care. Salmon is always a go to but we love the stuffed cabbage, also. I have a friend that always orders chicken paprikas, another favors the deep fried onion rings. Personally, we prefer the Twinsburg location over the Solon location. Favorite servers are Robert and bartender/server, Kelly. Kudos to the chefs, too.
I ended up going to this place with my mom who is battling cancer and hasn't been eating well. She really wanted fish and chips. I looked at reviews for this place and they said they had the best fish and chips. And they were right. I got a little emotional seeing my mom eat. She ate over half her plate (which was a hearty portion to begin with) and kept snacking even after she said she was full. I got the bangers and mash which was delicious. The service was quick and very friendly. Special shout out to our server Sophie! She did well taking care of us! Thank you for making such a big moment for me and my mom! Your kindness was very appreciated! If you are looking for hood food and good people this is your place! We will definitely be back for more!
The company I work for has thrown their Christmas party here the last two years and it has been amazing! Great food, great service for the amount of people that attend. The party is held in their private party room and it's very spacious, has its own private restroom and its own dedicated staff to wait on us. I definitely recommend this restaurant for any party or event!
A five-star place for sure, but 4 stars on the food this time. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her corned beef and cabbage while I went for the clam bake. It’s a lot of food (brought most of the 1/2 chicken home - drumstick was delicious) and had trouble finishing the rest that’s included. The NE clam chowder is wonderful, the whole sweet potato nicely baked and very tasty, the steamers were great with butter and/or broth for dipping, a very good creamy coleslaw and a dinner roll included. However, the whole ear of corn (not 1/2 or smaller) was disappointing as it was barely warm and wasn’t fresh. It basically tasted “old”. My glass of draught Harp lager was a good addition to the meal. Sans the corn it was still a five-star experience! My partner’s small snifter of moscato was her only disappointment in its taste and serving size for its cost. We’ll be back since it’s one of our favorites for dinner out!
I wanted to leave a review because the food was great (Shepherds Pie & Hummus plate) but the real stars are the staff! Our server Melissa was so kind and got my kiddo extra veggies. And other servers gave her fist bumps and were really cute with her. Everyone was really friendly and the owner even stopped by. It was a nice night out for a Mama/Daughter date.
We dined at Mavis in Twinsburg. Sophie is an exceptional Server. Do not let her go. She was so personable and friendly. Made sure our dining experience was fantastic. Please reward her with a bonus. We will be back… I had chicken paprikash and my husband had a pick two.. Delicious
